PAPO #50114 AFRICAN BUFFALO
measures: 5.25″ L x 2.7″ T.
African Buffalos have a unique appearance, with their massive heads and curved horns. Their horns are used for protection against predators, and they also use them in displays of dominance within the herd. Males are larger than females and can weigh up to 1000 kg. These animals have a thick, gray-brown hide and are covered with short, coarse hair. They have a large hump on their shoulders, which is composed of muscle and fat for energy storage. African Buffalos are extremely resilient and have adapted to a variety of habitats and climates. They can survive in dry, arid climates for short periods of time by digging for water.
