With the PIKO automatic door closer, #62002 the doors can be opened and closed automatically by a locomotive moving in or out. The shed accommodates locomotives of up to 25.6“ in length. The realistically aged and weather resistant building can be extended in length as well as in width by adding extension kits. -
The platform is weather-resistant and can be placed alongside the track or between adjacent tracks. It allows a station to have two or more parallel tracks with platforms. -
The set consists of two baseplates with a cobbled surface that provide a stable foundation for PIKO model buildings. -
The crossing section kit is an ideal weather-resistant addition to the Covered Platform #62004 and “Neustadt” station #62030. (tracks not included) -
With this extension set the Sonneberg Loco Shed, #62001, can be extended by 9.1“ (23cm). The set contains all necessary parts as well as the proper extension for the Automatic Door Closer, # 62002. -
Wooden ramps on both sides of the building aide the loading and unloading of freight cars. At the frontside is a fully operational roll-up door while a wooden door on the back allows for handling larger goods. We recommend the baseplates #62005 to enhance the model (1 set). -
The gravel work’s main building stands on a masonry base with windows. The loading and unloading can be monitored from the small annex. The main building can be extended with the Side Building #62010, and the Automatic Loader #62011, to enable realistic operation. -
The building houses the conveyor system that delivers the rock to the gravel work’s main building. -
Place the gravel in the main building’s #62009 gravel container. From there it can be loaded into railcars by using the motor driven automatic loading unit.
